Mazda is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the MX-5 Miata with a new special edition of the ND-generation model. Only 300 units will be produced for the U.S., all as manual soft-top convertibles based on the Grand Touring trim.
Key Features:
- Exclusive Artisan Red Metallic paint
- Unique tan top, tan leather interior, and tan carpets
- Includes premium features: heated seats, navigation, adaptive headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
- Performance gear: limited-slip differential, Bilstein dampers, shock-tower brace
- Unique touches: Artisan red trim, leather key fob, rear spoiler, bright-finish wheels
Price:
MSRP is about US$36,300 in USA, a slight premium over the Grand Touring model ($34,7000) but offers exclusive aesthetics and bundled upgrades.
Verdict:
Another special-edition Miata — but well-executed, stylish, and true to the spirit of the world’s best-selling roadster.
