The Amazon Kindle is a range of e-readers designed and marketed by Amazon. Amazon Kindle devices enable users to browse, buy, download, and read e-books, newspapers, magazines and other digital media via wireless networking to the Kindle Store. The hardware platform comprises a range of devices, including e-readers with E Ink electronic paper displays, Android-based tablets with color LCD screens and Kindle applications on all major computing platforms. All Kindle devices can access Kindle Store content.  As of March 2018, the Kindle store has over six million e-books available in the United States.

Kindle apps are available on Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store so you can read Kindle ebooks on tablets,  phones and e-readers.

Kindle apps are available for Windows PC and Macs.  In addition, there is the Kindle Cloud Reader which let you read your read ebooks with a browser.

I like to read Kindle books on my Mac and iPad as they are handy and always with me.

Recommend Kindle ebook as it’s immediate, cheaper, doesn’t take up physical space like a printed book, doesn’t require paper and shipment. In addition, I can alway take my whole library of Kindle ebooks with me when I am on the move.
